CO-FOUNDER
Rob Gardner has more than 40 years of experience primarily in the perishable food industry; He was the General Manager of a wholesale seafood company in Washington, DC servicing Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. He relocated to North Carolina where he continued to work in the seafood industry until becoming the Southeast Regional Produce Buyer for Whole Foods. For several years he worked with an internet company that launched an E-Procurement platform for the perishable food industry connecting buyers and sellers.
After seeing the large amount of food waste and mishandling of products he became involved in food safety. There he developed equipment for washing and sanitizing perishable products, as well as pretreating water used in the production of ice with ozone to help reduce bacteria. As he continued to evolve in this field, he added more tools for cleaning and sanitizing including ozone, electrolyzed water, and parasitic acid while maintaining a goal of having safe and environmentally friendly products. At the time of his retirement, he was Director of Manufacturing for a nutraceutical company offering personalized supplements, victims, and minerals in a food-based product. During that time, he also invented a bucketless mop system now patented in the USA and fifteen other countries.
Today, he partnered with Jason Seidel to start Solutions by S&G LLC and launched their first product Accelerating Nature. Once he saw the capabilities of Accelerating Nature and the positive impact on the environment he knew he had to be a part of getting this and many other new products to market.
